The 3001 is widely regarded as one of the finest DTG print surfaces available in any blank tee. The reasons are structural:

Combed ring-spun cotton produces a tightly woven, dense, and smooth surface that allows DTG ink to deposit with precision. Fine lines stay fine. Small text stays legible. Colors deposit evenly without the micro-inconsistencies that show up on coarser cotton surfaces.

White ink performance on dark-colored 3001s is excellent — the underbase layer adheres cleanly to the smooth surface, and full-color designs over white underbase come out with vivid, accurate color.
