The recycled polyester comes from post-consumer materials (primarily PET plastic bottles). The recycled cotton comes from recovered textile waste. Both are processed, re-spun, and woven into a yarn that performs indistinguishably from the virgin-fiber equivalent. The result is a tee that looks like the 3001, feels like the 3001, and prints like the 3001 — while requiring less from the planet to make.
At 4.2 oz, the weight is identical to the original. The 32-singles yarn count is slightly higher than the standard 3001, contributing to a tight, consistent weave that’s excellent for detailed print work.
